Ann’s work at AndMore Communications has earned two industry awards, one for her Pro Bono work with the American Heart Association on its strategic communications plan and the other for her work with Partnering for Children, a national campaign to supporting the unique needs of children with life-threatening conditions. 

Most recently, Ann was vice president of communications and outreach at World Food Program USA where she directed the organization’s communications and outreach activities, managed relevant staff and served as a member of the management team that provides guidance for the overall strategy and operations of the organization. The communications and outreach activities support the public policy, private sector fund-raising, branding and other WFP USA activities.
While at WFP USA Ann:

• Won five industry awards for WFP USA's annual report, organizational brochure and award ceremony materials. Additionally, she won a platinum award for her strategic communications planning.
• Placed stories, reaching millions of people, in outlets including Politico, Bloomberg, 60 Minutes, The Huffington Post, U.S. News & World Report, The Harvard Political Review and The NonProfit Times. 
• Generated more than $2 million through online fundraising efforts in 2011
• Raised the organization’s social media presence, including increasing their Facebook following by nearly 350 percent
• Increased WFP USA’s outreach efforts, forging relationships with NHS, Rotary, and members of the faith-based community, among others.

Devon Dabbs

Devon is a public relations executive, health care advocate, and former documentary filmmaker with more than 20 years of experience.

Her film credits include Walter Cronkite’s four-part series “Victory over Violence,” and the Peabody Award-winning CBS documentary “Break the Silence: Kids Against Child Abuse,” where in her role as segment producer she initiated a national educational campaign distributing resource materials and videos to more than 90,000 schools across the country.

Devon has coordinated and launched numerous national and international communication campaigns for both network and syndicated programming, including the 50th and 51st annual Emmy Awards. She has also spearheaded media campaigns on behalf of the American Red Cross and the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, among others.

She was instrumental in the launch of the Hilton Foundation’s 1st Annual International Humanitarian Conference in conjunction with the $1.5 million Hilton Humanitarian Prize, awarded annually to an organization making extraordinary contributions toward alleviating human suffering anywhere in the world. It was in this capacity she has coordinated campaigns on behalf of St. Christopher’s Hospice, Doctors without Borders, International Rescue Committee, and Heifer International, among others.

Through her work with Children’s Hospice and Palliative Care Coalition, Devon has spearheaded policy initiatives and created programs, which are dramatically improving care for children with life-threatening conditions in California, including the enactment of the Nick Snow Children’s Hospice and Palliative Care Act of 2006.  Devon has been honored with the Award of Excellence from The End-of-Life Nursing Consortium and by the California Association of Nonprofits for innovation in program design. She has served on several boards including the California Hospice and Palliative Care Association, California Hospice Foundation, and the Hospice of the Valley advisory council.

Devon has worked with Ann Andrews Morris for more than 10 years.  They first worked together at the American Red Cross where they did public relations outreach and promotion for the organization’s holiday television specials. As public relations director at AndMore Communications, Devon’s responsibilities include media relations, coalition building, and brand management.

Jennifer contributes to the AndMore team more than 17 years of experience in creative communications and branding development for government, non-profit and corporate entities.

As creative director, she provides strategic counsel in the development and implementation of print and web solutions, looking at the big picture for how print, interactive and non-traditional mediums fit within a clients’ communications goals.

She works with clients in planning ways to reach their target audience and recommends the most effective methods for reaching those goals. Compelling brand identity, advertising, environmental design, and interactive development are some of the ways Jennifer brings her clients vision to life. She takes projects from focus group to brand strategy and follows through with a finished product that is customized, on deadline, and within budget.
